search button inoperative, useless click on it no search tabs opens

Klite version 2.7.2a has just been installed and the troubles already begun ; I had previous versions sometime ago which ran smoothly and worked perfectly. I haven´t had it for at least 3 years , reason because now I decided to have it installed once again to find out if it has been improved.
The impression I have it is a very heavy application which seems to be nearly frozen as it opens up.
I tried to search an entry by typing into the “search for” field to happen absolutely nothing , no search tab comes up and the “How to avoid Fakes” screen remains.
Is there something that can be done to mend this trouble ?

You actually get a connection to a supernode?? Do you see a green light in the lower-right of your screen (that shows you are connected)? As far as I know, 2.7.2a is the last version available - and it looks like all that will ever be. I haven't got a connection for months - and it wasn't very good even then. Not since sometime in 2006 was this really any good. I just come here from time to time to see if anything is going on. Usually nothing - I wonder what keeps this site going. Got to be some kind of auto pilot.

ron wolpa, you've missed out alot in the last 3 years when you were held captive in a POW camp in Iraq or wherever you were, because FastTrack is almost completely dead. Only about 10,000 people are on at once. It's really hard to connect to the network because nothing keeps track of the supernodes anywhere now that the Kazaa website is down.

Everybody uses BitTorrent now, and I'm anxious to know when it will be replaced with something new. Kazaa was mad popular for five years since its inception in 2001, so BT that gained popularity somewhen 2005-2006, I guess something will come up next year or the year after, and lets hope it will be new for the better.
