ATTN: Update 3/14/08

My Supernode lists are obsolete and it looks like I lost track of viable supernodes again when I didn't use Kazaa for a week. (GOD DAMN IT!) So, do not download the .kzn below.

If you have a list of working supernodes, posting it here would be highly appreciated.

-------------------

Since no entity/no-one appears to be maintaining FastTrack, I intend to do it myself.

Currently, I got no reliable reg patch available. Have the KZN supernode list for now.

Launch KaZupernodes and load the .kzn file and re-connect. Simple?

Right now there are 100,000 users with 4 million files and 180 TB of content (usually there's the same amount of users with half less files and not more than 10 TB but it appears new users have arrived with large collections. [Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3]

The list becomes obsolete very easy since nothing keeps track of working supernodes, so by a couple weeks, 99% of the supernodes will retire and if you're lucky: at least one of them from before will still be there to inform you of the new ones.

I'll try to update the list myself every couple days until Lite fixes his tracker.

Tips:

Have PeerGuardian2 ON AT ALL TIMES, before and after connecting.

If you can't connect, lower your firewall sensitivity. It doesn't matter if you marked Kazaa as a trusted program, 'cuz if your firewall's stealth is cranked up too high, incoming connections will be limited and you may not be able to connect to KaZaa, or have others connected to you.

If you got a router, configure it properly.

If that don't work, forward ports.

Try opening KaZupernodes and click the emergency button on the bottom right if you believe everything has been configured properly but still can't get a connection.

No shit, read the post. Try downloading an openGiFT client, as they also connect to FastTrack to the best of my knowledge.

The node list used by that application is the same as we have used in the past.

KCEasy seems to connect to the openGiFT site to acquire an active supernode list. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I fear KCeasy's FastTrack node list is a bit old and not updated regularly, take a look at http://update.kceasy.com/update/fasttrack/ I've been trying to get connected with KCeasy-gIFT-FastTrack for a couple of days now, as soon as I get a good node list I'll post it here.

Besides, someone should update the topic of #klchat: filesharingplace[dot]com was apparently hijacked, you may read more about that at http://www.filesharingz.com/about.php (and the link at the top of this site/page also needs to be corrected, it currently returns a 404).
