Hi
I FINALLY managed to install k-lite on vista, however, when it is running an error message appears saying it cannot run on "unknown operating platform".
Anyone now how to resolve this?
I am lost without my k-lite, have been using it for years but now, with the new operating system, don't understand what the problem is.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Don't know how, but I managed to get it installed. However, when I open it up it won't allow me to type anything in the search box. It then says it has encountered an error and shuts down.
Any advice?

Are you connected to the network? Have you tried compatability mode for kazaa.core and tried running K-Lite?

how do you run compat. mode for kazaa core? when I right click and go to properties, i dont see an option for comp. mode...

Right Click the shortcut for K-Lite and set it that way.

Make sure UAC is also disabled.
