then it would start being like any other multi-network client...overhead hog. kad is already bad enough blink.gif

it's fine the way it is if you ask me 7372ec59.gif

Both networks are based on the concept.

The eMule devs decided a while back NOT to add support for the overnet network, but rather create there own.

well since overnet users can connect to the ed2k network, in a sense you can download from overnet users, plus any alt-sources that turn up via sources exchange.
but it don't matter, with 4 million users on ed2k who needs overnet tongue.gif

Well It's done already. Since eDonkey 2000 every next ver of client is a hybrid of eDonkey + Overnet. Now It have united so you even cannot dl overnet and edonkey from official site. You can just dl eDonkey (It's a eDonkey2000 with its name changed back) wich has both overnet and edonkey inside smile.gif (but remember to enable eDonkey support from options tongue.gif

Hi, I just wanted to say someone did that.

It was based on a 0.30 I think and was considered as a leecher client.
From what I heard it was really good.

PS: nice to be able to post without having to register, I just need a FT-supernodes list for my mldonkey
